Subscription process


Q. Where do I get the subscription form?

Q. Is there a separate form / separate rate for renewal of subscription?
A. No. The form / rate is the same for subscription and renewal.


Q. Can I subscribe online?
A. Yes, you can pay online at our website using your credit / debit card via Times of Money Payment Gateway gateway.


Q. If I pay by credit card / debit card, how will I know my payment is successful?
A.You will see a completed transaction message on your screen. Otherwise a failed transaction message will appear.


Q. How can I subscribe using a cheque?
A. Simply courier us the cheque along with a letter specifying all your details, including delivery address. Alternately, you can attach a print-out of the subscription form with your cheque.


Q. Can I make a bank transfer or deposit cash into your bank account instead of using a credit/debit card?
A. Yes. You will need information about our banking account for that. Please call our office for details.


After subscribing


Q. How do I know my payment has been received?
A. A confirmation email will be sent to you within 2-3 days of receiving your payment.


Q. Will I get a receipt?
A. Receipts are issued on request.


Q. When will I receive the first issue of my print subscription?
A. The first issue of your print subscription will reach you in the second week of the month following receipt of your subscription order.


Q. When will I receive the first issue of my e-magazine subscription?
A. A login and password will be emailed to you in the second week of the month following receipt of your subscription order, using which you can access your e-magazine subscription.


Q. When can I start accessing the online library?
A. You need to pay to access to the online library. A login and password will be emailed to you in the second week of the month following receipt of your subscription order, using which you can access the online library. You can buy access for either one year or two years.


Q. Will I be alloted a subscriber number?
A.Yes. It will be mentioned in the confirmation email / letter. The subscriber number will also be mentioned on the 1st line of your mailing address on the cover wrap of the print magazine that you receive every month.


Q. Can I choose the start date of my subscription, for example, calendar year basis?
A. No. Your subscription will start in the second week of any month following receipt of your subscription request.


Q.Can my subscription be back dated?
A. No. Your subscription will start in the second week of any month following receipt of your subscription request.


Q. Can I access the full issue online?
A. Yes. You can buy e-magazine subscription and read the whole issue online every month.


Q. What is the difference between e-magazine and online library?
A. E-magazine subscription will give you access to a complete issue in future, every month for one or two years, as you choose. Buying membership to online library will give access to individual articles from all 16 years back issues.


Subscription delivery


Q. On which date will the print subscription copies reach me every month?
A. Subscriber copies are mailed on the 9th of the month and will reach you between 15th & 18th if you opt for our complimentary book post delivery. If you have opted to pay extra for courier delivery, you will receive copies by 12th or so.


Q. How are the subscriber copies mailed?
A.Copies are sent by book post from Delhi. You can opt for faster, more reliable delivery by paying additionally for courier service.


Q.How do I opt for courier delivery?
A. Courier charge for delivery within Delhi is Rs.100 per year, for NCR and other cities: Rs.240 per year. The payment for courier delivery during the subscription period needs to be paid in advance by sending us a cheque in favour of "HR Information Services" payable at New Delhi. Contact us for more details.


Missing Issues


Q. What if I miss an issue of my print subscription?
A.You would need to inform us about a missing issue during the same month and a duplicate copy will be sent to you, subject to availability. Please note that we are unable to entertain such requests received later, since copies do not remain in stock. We suggest that you opt for courier delivery by paying additionally to avoid the inconvenience of missing issues.


Change of address


Q. What if my mailing address changes?
A. You can inform us about your new address via email. You would need to quote your previous mailing address and subscriber number. The request for change of address must reach us before 30th of the month. .


Gift Subscription


Q. How do I gift a subscription to someone?
A.The process is the same as that of your own subscription, except that you must inform us about the delivery address of the recipient.


Q. What are the gift subscription rates?
A. The rates are same as normal subscription rates.



Renewing subscription


Q. How will I know that my subscription has expired?
A. We will send you a reminder for renewal a month before the subscription expires.

Q. What happens if I send in my renewal payment before the expiry of my subscription term? Will my subscription be extended or will I start getting parallel issues?
A.Your subscription will be renewed only after the expiry of the existing subscription. In order to avoid receiving parallel subscription copies, please mention your previous subscription number along with the renewal request.

Q. Do you have any offices/representatives outside Delhi?
A. No. We are based in Delhi.


Q. Is the magazine available on newstands?
A. No. We are not available at newstands or at bookstalls. You need to subscribe to Human Capital to receive read it on a regular basis.

A.Human Capital is published on a monthly basis


Q. Where is it circulated?
